How is your “quiet time”? Do you need a boost? Are you discipling someone where some extra tools would help?
Your Fort Wayne Alumni Center and the Taylor University Center for Scripture Engagement (TUCSE) are thrilled to host our 3rd Annual Scripture Engagement Workshop for daily life from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, November 4. This seminar will be held in the Eicher Commons (#1025) and will include lunch from Chick-fil-A Jefferson Pointe, operated by Jeff g77 and Sharon (Brumbaugh g77) Hoffman.
Dr. Phil Collins g82 TU, Center for Scripture Engagement Executive Director and son-in-law of Dr. Jay Kesler g58 TU, will be our facilitator and will help participants learn the following in this interactive seminar:
- Develop thinking (theology) and skills (practice) in engaging the Bible.
- Learn from Scripture about reflecting on God’s Word.
- Practice different methods of reflecting on Scripture (e.g., praying Scripture, “storying,” Lectio Divina, etc.).
- Hear about landmark research about Scripture engagement (research done by the TUCSE and other researchers).
Time: 9 a.m.–1 p.m.

Price: $25 (discounted price of $20/each for groups of 10+)
