TStephanie Demorest g93 Headshot 190x190rhe Alumni Center has seen two significant staffing changes over the summer. Our office manager, Stephanie J. Demorest g93 was promoted to Alumni Center Coordinator in June. A natural administrator, Stephanie’s new role plays to her strengths as she maintains day-to-day operations, connects alumni with resources, plans special events, and staffs the Alumni Center twice a week. Stephanie has been part of our staff since August 2015, and said she enjoys the opportunity her job affords of staying in touch with fellow alumni. “We have that common bond, that point of connection,” she said.

You won’t see much of her, but Kathryn Fenstermacher g13 has assumed the role of Publications Coordinator from 600 miles away. Fenstermacher, the Alumni Center’s writing intern when she was a student at Taylor University in 2013 and will manage our alumni publications and assist with social media remotely from her home in Newark, Delaware. “The Fort Wayne family has a special place in my heart,” Fenstermacher said. “I am excited to help share the amazing stories of this campus and our alumni.”

Alumni Center Director Michael Mortensen g91 is confident that the staff promotion and addition will help the Alumni Center more effectively serve our alumni and pursue our mission to care, connect, and celebrate. Each is made possible by minister partners and their gifts. “We are absolutely thrilled to have Stephanie in her new role, and to have Kathryn work remotely for us,” he said. “This really fills a great need for us, and we thank God for providing such quality individuals who love and support our mission.”
