Alumni returned from 13 states and Japan for Reunion Weekend 2017.

Positive comments and renewed friendships marked the weekend. The Classes of 1992-1997 Reunion had wonderful times together "crashing" the Teacher Education reunion, visiting Zesto on Broadway, playing kickball with their former dean Carolyn Arthur, and dining at Casa.

The Fort Wayne Campus Alumni & Friends Heritage Association presented alumni awards to Flossie (Johnson) Epley g77, Amy (Level) Warren g92 and Dr. Gary Wilber g73 for Distinguished Alumnus for Professional Achievement.  Susi (Laymon) Jones g71 was awarded the Distinguished Alumna for Service to her Alma Mater.

On Friday night, the Teacher Education reunion hosted a program entitled Doors Of Opportunity in which videos from alumni were shown as well as opportunity for returning alumni and faculty to share their stories. Here's Dr. Quinn White's experience.

On Saturday morning, Char (Miller) Binkley g64 shared an inspirational talk entitled, “Let me call you a door knob”, encouraging alumni to open doors of opportunities for others and to open a door of prayer for someone specific in their lives.

On Saturday afternoon Flossie, Amy and Gary gave insight about God's faithfulness in opening "Doors of Opportunity" for them on their journeys. To see the citations and snapshots of this event click here.
