Phyllis J. Miller ’53 TUU, 88, passed away on March 23, 2019. She was one the first women’s basketball and volleyball coach for Fort Wayne Bible College (FWBC) from 1973-1978. Here is a link to our 2014 Hall of Fame booklet, when we inducted her into our Fort Wayne Athletic Hall of Fame.
Deborah Hall, 65, passed into glory June 18, 2018. Deborah worked in the campus cafeteria for many years and was a great friend to many students and faculty. Services were held at First Baptist Church in New Haven, IN with some former students and staff members, including Linda Newman, in attendance.

The Fort Wayne Alumni Center has been informed that the Rev. Don Hamm h02, former director of the physical plant/personnel, entered into his Heavenly rest on Friday, April 13. He passed away after battling cancer at his Anderson home, surrounded by his family. Don served on the campus from 1982 to 2002. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 20 at Grace Baptist Church, 432 W. 300 N, Anderson, IN. Calling will take place at 12:30 p.m. Surviving are daughters, Lisa (Hamm) Brant g86 and Susan (Hamm) Nielson g96, and his wife, Diane. Preceding him in his passing was his first wife, Rose, who passed in 1999.

Dr. Gene Hovee, former Bible and Homiletics professor and administrator, joined his late wife, Jodi, dining hall services, in Heaven on April 3, 2018 after battling Parkinson’s disease and recently being hospitalized with pneumonia. Dr. Hovee served on the Fort Wayne Bible College (FWBC) from 1967 until 1982.
Suzanne "Sue" Belknap
Sue Belknap, wife of former TUFW Director of Financial Aid, Chuck Belknap, passed away on September 28 after battling a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Sue had been a teacher at Fort Wayne Christian School. The Belknaps have the Charles & Suzanne Belknap Endowed Scholarship at Taylor University.

EILEEN LAGEER WARNER, 93, wife of Dr. Timothy Warner, President of Fort Wayne Bible College from 1971 to 1980, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017. Born in Owen Sound, Ontario Canada, Eileen was the daughter of the late Wilmot and Winnifred Lageer. Eileen lived her life for God. She was a missionary, teacher, writer and author. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, at Fellowship Missionary Church. Willodean Klopfenstein (Ehresman)
Mrs. Willodean Klopfenstein passed away August 27. She is survived by her children and grandchildren including Sandy Klopfenstein Jones g71.
