Since so many alumni do not know about how to put an icon of our new website on their smart phones, we are reruniing a spot to help any who are interested in the process.

Did you know there is an "app" for our website? After months of preparation and work, your Fort Wayne Alumni Center has a new mobile-friendly website that launched during Reunion Weekend 2017. The new site has a new name, www.fwalumnicenter.org, and welcomes alumni back to the corner of Indiana and Rudisill, where we continue to care, connect, and celebrate. It features easier navigation, faster archive searches, features at your fingertips, social media connections, and more. You’ll appreciate this new way for us to care, CONNECT, and celebrate! For those of you who have a smart phone, here are instructions:

iPhone

1. Go to a browser on your iPhone.
2. In that browser window type: fwalumnicenter.org
3. Look at the bottom center, and you will see a box with an arrow pointing up
4. 
5. Click the box with the arrow pointing up
6. At bottom, find "Add to Home Screen" button (looks like a box with a + sign)

FWAlumnicenter shortcut icon will appear

Click on "Add" in top right

Android

In Google Chrome for smart phones

1. The instructions are similar to those for the iPhone above (above).

1. Open Firefox browser
2. Type the following into the browser window:  fwalumnicenter.org
3. Open menu on top right of page (this menu is marked as three vertical dots)
4. Choose "Page"
5. Within Page menu, choose "Add to home screen"
6. FWAlumnicenter shortcut icon will appear on your home screen.

1. Open Samsung browser
2. Type the following into browser window:  fwalumnicenter.org
3. Open menu on top right of page (this menu is marked as three vertical dots)
4. Choose "Add Shortcut on Home Screen"
5. FWAlumnicenter shortcut icon will appear on your home screen.
