The guest-artist series for the year is announced. The Radio Dept. purchases two new Crown recorders for its broadcasts. Gordan Wishart will speak at Spiritual Empahsis. A feature on the Congo by Ivan and Donelda (Coy) g53 Peterson gave insights into persecution there.

President Dr. Jared Gerig contributes his column, From The President's Pen. The President flies to Hawaii. The a Cappella Choir announces its spring tour to Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. Women's Auxiliary has spring meeting and presents scholarships. Dr. McMurtry lectures on the religion of President Lincoln. Christ in the Concrete City presented with Elmer Soden, directing. Jim Clauser and Judy Montei present a joint recital.

Featured was a Major column by the President S. A. Witmer, giving a perspective of the Bible College. A major fund raising push is featured with a photo of Dr. S.A. Witmer, Walter King and Jim Beltz. A recital featuring Dr. Rene Frank and Eloise Wood is announced. Rev. William Allen is named as Spiritual Emphasis speaker. Dr. Merrill C. Tenney will be the Commencement speaker. Faculty Reflections features W. Morrow Cook on the topic What is God To Me? An expanded roster of evening classes is announced.

This year was named the Jubilee year for the campus with special speakers and events throughout the school year. Featured was a column by the President S. A. Witmer. a tribute to Elmer Neunschwander, who was struck by a bolt of lightning on the Foster Park golf course August 18, 1954. Notice of Oliver Steiner's coronary occlusion in Flint, MI August 13 was also given. In the first special series of speakers for the Jubilee, Alan Redpath and R. R. Brown were listed among others. Timothy Warner was named Dean of Students.
