Format changed to newsprintFeatured was a column by the President Jared Gerig. Articles included announcement of the dedication of Witmer Hall, the accreditation by the State of Indiana for Teacher Training, the demolition of Providence, the Singing Collegian record release, the release of the men's basketball schedule, Alumni News, and faculty appointments: Lowell Weitz, Ronald Scharfe (librarian), Sandra Hall, Phyllis Miller, Gladys Schumaker and Helen Whittern. This was the first publication in the larger, newsprint format.

This volume also features articles on the first Homecoming and Founders Day event October 24, 1959, organized by G. D., the Youth Conference Ensemble (later in the year named the Singing Collegians), with Flo Price provided the program for the Alumni/Parent's Day. Senior gifts offer practical additions. 3M company donates A-V equipment. Outstanding Young Women in America tags three FWBC alumni-Alice Joy Weddle, Joan Hankey Gavilanez and Gretchen Gallagher Hughes, "Approved Unto God", the year chorus by Dr. Rene Frank, is included.

President Timothy Warner contributes his column, Message from the President. Rev. Wesley Willis named Chairman of Christian Education Department. Alice Joy Weddle joins Faculty as Instructor of Elementary Education. Bethel Publishing operates the Campus Bookstore, Steve King as new manger. Dale Ferrier new Board Chairman. Community Artist Series has ambitious season, with Pianist-humorist Henry L. Scott, Jerry Franks and the Grace College Brass Choir, our own Oratorio Chorus and Orchestra under the direction of Mr. Jay Platte presents The Messiah, also violinist, James Buswell will present a concert and the BC Choral Home concert will conclude the season.

R. Brown is fall Spiritual Emphasis speaker. Lincoln National Bank and C. L. Schust Co. donate to college. Several changes and appointments made: Dr. Edward Simpson appointed as interim Dean of Education; Herald J. Welty and Grant Hoatson have been promoted to Assistant Professor; new appointments include Ted Nickel as Assistant Professor and Head of Teacher Education, Melvin Reynolds as Assistant Professor in Teacher Education, Joel Kemmerer as Dean of Men and Instructor in Bible and Theology, Harold Pollitt as Business Manager.

President Dr. Jared Gerig contributes his column, From The President's Pen. In retrospect, Christmas events were listed such as And God Came, a Christmas oratorio by Dr. Rene Frank and Christ Child Festival. "Choose Your God" with Gerald Gerig is the Youth Conference theme and speaker this year. Rev. Gene Hamby is 2nd semester Spiritual Emphasis speaker. Several reflections regarding the recent Christmas activities at the college and in the community. The Berne/French Lick H.S. Choir will perform, Freeman Burkholder, director. The FW Philharmonic String Quartet will be performing on campus.

Building fund for south campus administration building announced. Dr. Jared Gerig to attend the World Congress on Evangelism. Clayton Steiner and Bill Pannell are elected into Delta Epsilon Chi. New faculty include Rev. Robert Strubhar, Chairman of Department of Pastoral Training, and Gilbert Hynes, Chairman of the Department of Music and Fine Arts. Graduates of the Class of 1966 are posted.

A concert of the faculty/composers is announced with Dr. Rene Frank, Dr. Matthew Lundquist, Ira Gerig, Richard Gerig, Betty Stanley are all involved. A Faculty Reflection by Dr. Rene Frank gives insight into the felt problem of the opposition to South Campus development. Class officers are announced, as well as the postponement of Youth Conference, slated for October, with possible rescheduling in the spring, due to a flu outbreak that has over 55% of the student body down.
