Divine Guidance

Isaiah 58:11
“The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.”
“The LORD will guide you always, he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.”
The divine guidance of God is often called His Divine Providence, and includes His taking care of all existing things. Certainly this applies to those of us who are His children, and we need to acknowledge His continued involvement in our daily routines of life. Even when sin is involved, the decreed providence of God will not be stymied, for His supreme omnipotence or power is capable of incorporating his brothers,
“It was not you who sent me here, but god. He made me father to Pharaoh, lord of this entire household and ruler of all Egypt.”
--Genesis 45:8
He may not always use a cloud by day or fire by night, but He will always provide His guidance. We may not understand it, but we can sure acknowledge it!
Song:
I need Thy presence every passing hour;
what but Thy grace can foil the tempter’s power?
Who like Thyself, my guide and stay can be?
Through cloud and sunshine, O, abide with me!
--Henry Francis Lyte
