Resurrection of Lazarus

John 11:25
For the disciples and friends of Jesus the resurrection of Lazarus from the dead was but a foretaste of a greater resurrection. Jesus explained when he said in John 11:25,
“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
This question asked of Martha is asked of us today. Christ did arise from the grave, but do we really believe it? As resurrection Sunday approaches, do we actually believe?
A former Muslim explained his new belief to some of his questioning friends. “Suppose you were going down the road and suddenly the road forked in two directions, and you didn’t know which way to go; and there at the fork were two men, one dead, and one alive. Which one would you ask for directions?” Lord, You are alive, and I do believe!
